After two successive heavy defeats in which they conceded seven goals without scoring, Racing Santander will again face difficulties when hosting unbeaten in four Almeria tonight. Racing lost 3-0 at home to moderate 12th placed Malaga two weeks ago and followed last week by a 4-0 thrashing at Barcelona. They also conceded a 4-0 defeat five games ago to Athelico Madrid. Thus they show a frail defense while Almeria have scored in all of their last four games (1-1, 3-1 win, 2-2, 1-0 win). From last eight Almeria lost only one game by 1-0 away at high flying and in-form Sevilla. They won three games (all at home) and drew four games of which three on their travels. I believe Almeria can get something here at their visit at rather poor Santander. They won 2-0 there last season. Their last away win goes back to 10 games ago on Malaga, lost subsequent five and but played in progress more recently to show (DLDD) in last four away.
