NBA:San Antonio vs Phoenix -by rahul
The recent emergence of Robin Lopez after being pushed as a starter has given the Suns a new dimension to their game. It leaves Amare Stoudemire to run up and down the court without the worry of being the solitary defensive presence in there and along with Hill, Richardson and Nash provides a solid starting unit for the Suns.
The best part about this move is the bench strength that gets created for Phoenix. Their second unit includes the likes of Dudley, Dragic, Frye, Amundson as well as the soon to be fit Leandro Barbosa.
San Antonio have been struggling to find a foothold having a mixed bag of performances especially since Tony Parker has been missing. While George Hill has made up for the scoring, the creation of plays and the vision of Parker is clearly missing to make more opportunities for the Spurs.
San Antonio also have been finding faults with baggage players such as Jefferson, Finley, McDyess and sometimes even Manu Ginobli, who have all failed to find that killer instinct that the Spurs promised a lot in the beginning of the season.
The Suns should get off to an explosive start leaving the Spurs sitting behind in this early tip-off.
