The series is very important for both the Cardinals(51-41) and the Phillies(48-43),as the team who managed to win two or more games will incredibly bettered its positions for the Play-offs.St.Louis(31-15 at home) seems to be the team in better form lately,but this is not so important in such clashes,especially when the rival is one of the teams with the best away record in the last couple of years(21-25 this season).When I looked at their games during this season and the previous season as well,I found that most of the games have finished with nine or lower runs(16-4 in their last 20 meetings).This is obviously a tradition in the games between these two teams,so my bet is that it will happen again.
