Uefa Europa League – Second leg, first leg 0-1 away win for TPS

Circumstances are known. TPS is already in competition, Cercle still preparing. This was the main reason that TPS won the first leg. Cercle played a very bad first half and payed it cash. Second half the were already much better, but failed to score from a few good opportunities.

Now Cercle knows the opponent better, is much better prepared and should dominate this game. A bit worry is that Cercle in attack has not been convincing yet, but in this game they should be the better team and be able to score once or twice. Also TPS has not a very good home recored.

And despite the fact that the home team is a defensive team, playing on the counter and the fact the Cercle is not great in attack with some missing players, I do see some value in taking the over. Second legs are usually much more open than the first game. Cercle has to attack, the home team will be looking to exploit this.

My best guess would be a 1-2 away win, but if we have a 1-1 during the game it might be possible that the home teams finnishes it off on the counter. So I’m playing Cercle away win on the value of it, playing the over to cover or to complement that pick. GL
