NHL:Colorado vs NY Rangers -by kyle

Pepsi Center

Colorado Avalanche will host the Rangers in Pepsi Center tonight and will try to find their first win after two games without a single point.
The Avalanche impressed me this season, having a nice team and a strong goalie, Craig Anderson. They are now 6th in the West after Los Angles Kings’ win in Boston last night, 3:2 after OT and are coming after two losses against the Wild, 0:1 and the Stars, 2:3, both ended in regulations.
Milan Hejduk, Matt Hendricks, David Jones, Ruslan Salei, Ryan Stoa and Marek Svatos are Colorado’s missings.
New York Rangers are now on a five-game losing streak and only 2-7-1 in their last ten games played. 12th in the East, but this thing shouldn’t be a problem as the 8th spot is only one point ahead. Henrik Lundqvist is listed as day-to-day for the Rangers, but from what I have have heard he’ll start tonight.
The Avalanche hasn’t lost to the New York Rangers on home ice in more than a decade, but they have also lost against the Rangers in a situation like this (when the Rangers were on a seven-game losing streak in February, 2009). They are now on a five-game losing streak and this could be a good opportunity for the Rangers to snap up their first win after some poor games. I’ll go against the odds tonight as this bet seems decent to me.
