NHL:Colorado Avalanche vs St. Louis Blues -by petkov

Colorado Avalanche ( 32-19-6) hope that another strong play at “Pepsi Center” can help them to climb to the top of the Northwest Division.Joe Sacco’s club is now just two points behind first placed Vancouver.Strong defense was the key that help them to win six of their last eight games in Denver. But unfortunately their next opponent, St.Louis Blues (25-24-9), has looked much better on the road this season, and will seek a third straight victory away from home. The Blues have 16-8-4 record away from home with a 3-2 victory at Chicago on Wednesday. Colorado forward Ryan O’Reilly (57 games / 7 goals) is questionable for this game, while Milan Hejduk ( 40/15), Matt Hendricks (reserve) , David Jones (23/10), Ruslan Salei (reserve) and Ryan Stoa(reserve) are all out for tonight clash. For Blues only the forward B.J. Crombeen(reserve) is day-to-day.This will be the second of four meetings between the teams. The Avalanche have won their first 4-0 at “Scottrade Center” on Dec.,7/2009.Now the hosts are favourites again, but because of their many absent players and also because of the Blues good away form I’ll try with St.Louis (+1,5).Both teams depend mostly on their defense in the last months,so under 5,5 goals also seems to be a good option.Colorado have received 11 goals in their last 10 home games, while St.Louis have 3.25 goals-against average away from home.

8/10 on St. Louis Blues +1.5 at 1.44 with Planet Pinnacle (Asian Handicap)
